Activities and sightseeing on arrival and departure days depend on your flight times.
ℹ️ This is a short coastal tour, not a full island circuit. The airport transfer can take around 2 to 3 hours or longer depending on traffic and the destination. On Day 3, allow approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours or more from Galle to the airport, depending on traffic. Choose a departure flight with sufficient buffer time. Boat trips and beach activities are optional and weather-dependent.

Day 1: Airport to Bentota
Meet your private driver at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel to Bentota via the expressway when suitable. After checking in, relax on the beach or enjoy a leisurely walk along the coast. If your flight arrives early and you have enough time, you can arrange an optional boat trip on the Bentota River. Activities depend on your arrival time and accommodation check-in.

Day 2: Madu River Safari and Galle Fort
After breakfast, travel to Balapitiya for an optional boat excursion on the Madu River, known for its mangroves, waterways and small islands. Continue south to Galle and explore Galle Fort on foot, including its historic streets, ramparts, lighthouse surroundings and ocean views. If time allows, relax at Unawatuna Beach before checking in at your accommodation in Galle or Unawatuna.

Day 3: South Coast to the Airport
Enjoy breakfast and, if your flight schedule allows, a short morning walk or some time by the beach. Then travel to Bandaranaike International Airport using a suitable route. For an early flight, arrange an earlier departure or consider staying closer to the airport on the previous night. Additional sightseeing is not guaranteed on departure day.
